Written by Wayne Phillips
(c) Copyright 1991 Electronic Horizons, Inc.
---------------------------------------------------
BEBOP FEATURES ( Shareware Demo version )
---------------------------------------------------
* Two modes of play: Tournament and Practice!
-Tournament Mode moves the player sequentially through all levels of
play increasing the challenge as you go.
-Practice Mode allows play on a single level of your choosing.
* One or Two Player Games !
* 25 One player levels
* 12 Two player levels
* 1 Stereo digitized sound set
* Picture puzzles add a challenge within a challenge!
These levels will provide many hours of enjoyment and hopefully
encourage you to send $15 U.S. to purchase the full version of BeBop 'N Drop
which now includes a built-in editor to create your own board puzzles and
piece sets, re-assign digitized sounds, change background and playing
piece graphics to produce wonderful levels of your own design.
The two player mode allows exciting cooperative play with a friend!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ADDITIONAL FEATURES IN FINAL VERSION ($15.00 U.S. CONTRIBUTION)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
* 25 additional levels of one player for 50 levels in all
* 15 additional levels of two player for 27 in all
* Endless play on a level of your choosing
* 5 additional picture puzzles
* Additional piece sets for a total of over 800 different pieces
* 10 different sets of Stereo Digitized Sound Effects!
The final version is great fun since the sounds are matched with
the piece and board graphics. (Hear the shark approach as he stalks
the fish!)
* Built-in Editor to create your own piece sets, change sound sets,
design your own playing boards or alter the levels provided
* High scores are saved to disk for all modes of play
* Tournament games may be saved at any time on any level and continued
later
* Exciting end game screen (!!???!!)
You will be thrilled with playing the additional 40 levels available
in the final game and solving each levels tricks, traps, and playing with
a wider variety of piece sets. And even if you can't work your way through
the levels in order of difficulty in the tournament mode, the final version
allows unlimited continous play on any single selected level. (The Demo limits
you to dropping three (3) rows and then quits)
(The new levels contain some more difficult board designs and piece
sets and also more boards that are just plain fun !)
Just send your $15.00 U.S. to:

OBJECT OF BEBOP 'N DROP
-------------------------------
BeBop 'N Drop has two modes of play: Tournament and Practice. You can
play both modes as a single player or as a two player team. The object
of Practice mode is to pick a level your not very good at and get better
or to play a level you cannot normally reach or to just play your favorite
levels. The object of the Tournament mode is to play all 50/27 levels in
order and see the BeBop Bopper at the end.
Each level is mastered when you successfully create and drop the number of
horizontal rows noted on that game level or complete a row containing the
treasure piece, if one exists.

INSTALLATION
--------------------
STEP A. From Workbench, drag the "BB&D" drawer icon over to the desired
place on your floppy or hard disk.
or:
From CLI or a copy program copy the entire "BB&D" directory and
the "BB&D.info" file to your floppy or hard disk.

NOTES:
(1) The BeBop 'N Drop game uses the "iff.library" file in the "BB&D"

this file in your systems LIBS: directory, the game will work
fine in this configuration also.
(2) If any error messages appear while starting the game and refer
to a missing font(s), please install them onto your hard disk from
your Workbench master disks. ( See Instructions Below )
*************************************************************************
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS ONLY IF THE GAME DOES NOT START PROPERLY !!
*************************************************************************
In order to run BeBop 'N Drop, it is necessary to have certain files
installed on your system or boot disk. This boot disk can be either
a floppy or hard disk. These files are listed below:
LIBS:DiskFont.Library
FONTS:diamond.font, FONTS:diamond/12, FONTS:garnet.font, FONTS:garnet/9
FONTS:topaz.font, FONTS:topaz/8

of Workbench onto your hard disk or boot floppy.
NOTE: Newer versions of Dos may not have the topaz/8 font on the
----- distribution disks as it is in ROM.
If you boot from a floppy or hard disk that does not have the above
mentioned files, they can be copied from your original workbench disk
into the proper directories with any file copy utility.
